The State’s best private bus drivers have been presented with Awards by Bob Barwick from Mobitec/Thoreb and Les Wielinga, Director General of Transport for NSW. The awards were presented at the AGM held on Thursday 24th February, at BusNSW offices in North Parramatta.
Winner: Ms DONNA PUDO [from Dion's Bus service
Donna Pudo is described as friendly and helpful, going well beyond the call of duty to ensure her passengers trip is an enjoyable one.
Donna actively represents drivers on the company’s OH&S Committee and is great contributor at operations meetings. Due to her positive attitude, dedication and commitment Donna was recently awarded “Employee of the Year” Award.
Winner: MR BRIAN DUNNACLIFF [from Busways]
Brian Dunnacliff has worked for various operators at the Wauchope bus depot for over 22 years. School Principals describe Brian as an extremely safe and conscientious bus driver. He is friendly, easy to communicate with and very approachable, with a great enthusiasm and love for his job.
Brian is diligent, courteous, and is well respected by students, parents, teachers, colleagues. He is held in high regard by the community he serves.
Winner: MR GEOFF PENDLEBURY [from Hunter Valley Coaches]
Geoff Pendlebury has demonstrated outstanding performance in his position as a coach and charter driver. Included with Geoff’s nomination were many letters from travellers and school teachers expressing gratitude and adulation for his professionalism, driving skills and the care he takes ensuring each passenger or student has a safe and happy holiday or excursion.
Geoff’s compassionate nature, mixed with a sense of fun, knowledge and experience makes him an ideal coach captain!
